Access to the earth environment in an uncontrolled way causes some species to react uncharacteristically and they cause havoc and death amongst humans close to where breaches have occurred. Maldron's vampire mentor, Max Von Konstein as the Continuum representative on earth,, occasionally calls upon his help to deal with those creatures from the Continuum plain.
