Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For some it's their ailing grandparent living long enough to witness the birth of their first grandchild. Whereas, for others it's making it to their bed because the two individuals (Jack and Morgan) they considered their best friends, utterly intoxicated their body. From heat and a roof over your head to a pair of select stilettos going on sale, everyone appends distinct components for their interpretation of a miracle. For him it was receiving an invitation to a professional hockey team's training camp. Though he wasn't guaranteed anything other than an opportunity to rightfully earn a roster spot, he was compelled to manifest the results of diligence. Kiyaga-ism Act II: Unauthorized Departure is the second chapter in the poetic landscape echoing an illustrious odyssey. From Kampala, Uganda to Fort Wayne, Indiana I've constructed pages that feel like a movie but read like a CD. Driven by hockey and steered by everything our beautiful world has to offer, this book promises to be fun yet profound.

This book was released on 2004-10-07 with total page 381 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides an important shift in the analysis of Britain's policy towards the illegal postwar Jewish immigration into Palestine. It charts the development of Britain's response to Zionist immigration, from the initial sympathy, as embodied in the Balfour Declaration, through attempts at blockade, refoulement and finally disengagement. The book exposes differences in policy pursued by the great departments of state like the Foreign, Colonial and War Offices and their legal advisors, and those implemented by the Admiralty. The book argues that the eventual failure of Britain's immigration policy was inevitable in view of the hostility shown by many European nations, and America, towards Britain's ambition to retain her position in the Middle East.

This force took only the best soldiers from the best regiments to do the job. Exploring the galaxy was dangerous and soon we accidentally encountered the Uskabar. The massacre of the mining colony at Flaven Prime taught us a valuable lesson, that we were not always welcome. Three members of the Special Forces rescue team survived that day, now eight years later, Captain Fox, Major Pearson and Colonel Hargreves would face the instigator of that massacre, Colonel Caspan. Fox knew one day that this would happen but hoped it would never come. This time Fox would be taking a team of rookies with him, who would be thrown into a world of bounty-hunters, gun-runners, smugglers and politics; he had high hopes that they might survive.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This study provides empirical evidence on the considerable but often unnoticed impact of EU accession on the mobility and integration of migrants from Bulgaria in Germany. Original data from a time-location sampling survey in Hamburg reveal that free movement not only induced a high level of mobility among EU citizens from Bulgaria after 2007 but also enabled their more permanent settlement in Germany. The study also provides statistical evidence that EU citizenship contributed to better legal integration of Bulgarian migrants in Germany, but national policies shaped to a greater extent their integration in terms of participation in the core areas of life. Restrictive policies such as transitional periods in the freedom of work hampered labour market integration and created more disadvantaged positions for workers. Inclusive policies such as the dual citizenship policy facilitated the naturalisation of settled migrants and led to exceptionally high naturalisation rates for Bulgarians that point to their successful integration in society. However, integration successes remain almost unnoticed in public discourse, which is dominated by the image of Bulgarian migration as a challenge.
