Book excerpt: Humanity has still not explored even a percentage of the power this universe has to offer. Instead, they have been fearing the greatest technology they can possibly ever have access to. The universe gives us a way to teleport with a hole in the space time continuum, that can be used to eliminate transport once and for all and all we have ever done is be afraid of it. Imagine going from your home to the top of Mount Everest or the bottom of Mariana Trench by pressing a button and walking through it. With a little command over gravity, this is what humanity can achieve but all humans are doing is fearing that the black hole will eat Earth up someday, least realising if the black hole someday comes for Earth, it will send us to another galaxy just like our kings and queens. It will make Earth the king of a galaxy like it made them the kings and queens of the universe. This is a story of scientific probability of the ever expanding universe. This is story of The Black Hole Kings and Queens - The Kings and Queens born out of a Black Hole with the Sacrifice of Amnesse. Black holes have been around much before life on Earth has. Earth is a single planet among billions of planets in billions of galaxies and humans have never explored the black hole. They have seen it from afar and have declared it a monster whereas that is the only thing that will take them to the future. They say we need to preserve resources for future generations, but they are too scared to realise that the black hole gives us access to infinite resources in this ever expanding universe and we just have to be courageous enough to enter.

What if we are not advanced enough to understand what the black holes are offering us ? What if we can't even see what is right in front of our eyes ? This is the story of the brightest minds on the planet, for whom the universe is waiting for. Not our universe, but the universe where they are destined to be, the universe which they are meant to free. This is the universe the black hole offers them, and as long as they are together in it, the Earth will be glee.

After all humanity has achieved in its scientific breakthroughs, no one has ever been able to replicate a blackhole or even figure out where it leads to. No scientist has ever been able to deny that the blackhole can break the space time continuum and still we know nothing about its technology, what drives it or what creates it. We have tried to speculate, but we are nowhere yet, we have nothing to show for it. But these four kings and queens have gone through it, and are fighting for the Universe. They are gaining allies everyday, and soon they will fight for the Earth. This is the story of The Black Hole Kings and Queens - The Kings and Queens born out of a Black Hole ready to fight the Dolmion war.

He was non-descript in the way that overweight, balding, self-conscious and arrogant men sometimes are, a face with pock marks and an assortment of pimples, a dirty-looking, poorly shaved chin, blue-gray eyes disproportionately small to the jowls and ears, glasses that bore the blue-green tinge of years of neglect. It's not a pleasant face

Assuming Scott's keen awareness of the problems of historical representation, James Kerr reads the Waverley novels as a grand fictional project constructed around the relationship between the language of fiction and the historical reality. Scott deliberately played fiction and history off against one another; and we can see throughout his novels a tension between the romancer, recasting the events of the past in accordance with recognizably literary logics, and the historian, presenting an accurate account of the past. This contradiction, reflected in Scott's generic mixture of romance and realism, remains unresolved, even in the most self-conscious of his works. It is in this interplay of fiction and history that Professor Kerr identifies the rich complexity of the Waverley novels.

Book excerpt: Claes Oldenburg, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, and Donald Juddall are iconic names in art history, and each is allowed a chapter's worth of exploration by Shannon (contemporary art history theory, Univ. of Maryland), who manages to surprise us into remembering that these people were grappling with their environment and working to understand the modern urban landscape. See, for example, the photo of Johns and Rauschenberg in Rauschenberg's home. They look like two young men camped out in a cheap flat somewhere in the present day, smoking, having a drink, and talking philosophy. Yet, they were making great strides in using their art, as Shannon argues, to understand how and why "all that was once directly lived has become mere representation," eventually revealing the "inadequacy of language itself." New York City was disappearing all around them, as faceless monoliths of modern glass and steel replaced treasured places where people had lived and died. Theirs was a time of rapid change, and these themes still persist today.Nadine Dalton, Speidel Cuyahoga Cty. P.L., Parma, OH Copyright Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc.
