Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Guidance for Life on Earth is a series of books written in cooperation with inner guides, who describe themselves as multidimensional beings not focussed in physical form. The books present the guides' perspective on our world, and why we are here. Their intention is to support us in living our lives very differently and in creating a different world. The books combine teachings and suggested practices, to support readers in exploring and integrating the principles into everyday life. In Book One, "Reality, Humans and the Earth", the Earth is framed as a plane of experimentation. What we understand as reality is a reflection of our inner state, mirroring the consciousness we choose to embody. Our primary purpose in life is to discover who or what we might be, and any difference we wish to make in the world needs to begin deep inside us. The author is a teacher and writer. Born in England, he has travelled extensively for over 35 years to support people to awaken to their deeper potential. In 2017 he experienced an opening to a source of guidance through the non-physical realms and, in 2019, began writing Guidance for Life on Earth.

In Book Three, "Being Human, Being World (Part 2)", we journey deeper into the nature of our reality, exploring how the compelling outer circumstances and crises of our world are seeded within us, and maintained, and for what purpose. We inquire into how suffering arises, and need not, into the vast scope of our work together, and into those worlds which we are here to bring into our manifest reality on Earth. Book excerpt: · What’s happening in the world lately? · How can I be happy when so many are not? · Is life about following your heart or taking what’s served to you? · Who were the prophets, what areangels, and what happens when we die? · What happened to our ancient civilizations, do secret societies have any real secrets, and are aliens now visiting us? · What’s real? What matters? Who says? Who cares? · How do we know or find our purpose? Many of us ask ourselves these questions, and many more, as we go through our days and try to make sense of our lives. Mike Dooley asks them too, except . . . his questions get answered. Wisely. Compassionately. Fully. One such answer explained its source, stating that we all have a higher self within that predates this life and will live beyond it, and thus it knows a whole lot more than we do about where we’ve been, why we’re here, and what will likely happen next on planet Earth. Life on Earth takes the form of a journal in which Mike asks what’s on his mind during pivotal times in his life. As one of today’s most respected New Thought leaders and reality theorists, he offers a lofty platform for this wide-ranging dialogue that powerfully expands our perspectives on essential truths, taking on topics such as: · Why and how to see through the “illusions” of life on earth · How to make sense of natural disasters and man-made tragedies · Living deliberately, creating consciously, and finding your power · Wealth, relationships, “past lives,” and the evolution of consciousness · The ultimate reason for life on earth (it’s shockingly simple) These are questions asked from the heart with a cautious, even suspicious, mind. Mike explores the subtleties of the replies in depth and detail using his trademark wit and realism, in this intrepid explorer’s guide to the jungles of time and space.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Travel to space and back with astronaut Chris Hadfield's "enthralling" bestseller as your eye-opening guide (Slate). Colonel Chris Hadfield has spent decades training as an astronaut and has logged nearly 4000 hours in space. During this time he has broken into a Space Station with a Swiss army knife, disposed of a live snake while piloting a plane, and been temporarily blinded while clinging to the exterior of an orbiting spacecraft. The secret to Col. Hadfield's success-and survival-is an unconventional philosophy he learned at NASA: prepare for the worst- and enjoy every moment of it. In An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth, Col. Hadfield takes readers deep into his years of training and space exploration to show how to make the impossible possible. Through eye-opening, entertaining stories filled with the adrenaline of launch, the mesmerizing wonder of spacewalks, and the measured, calm responses mandated by crises, he explains how conventional wisdom can get in the way of achievement — and happiness. His own extraordinary education in space has taught him some counterintuitive lessons: don't visualize success, do care what others think, and always sweat the small stuff. You might never be able to build a robot, pilot a spacecraft, make a music video or perform basic surgery in zero gravity like Col. Hadfield. But his vivid and refreshing insights will teach you how to think like an astronaut, and will change, completely, the way you view life on Earth — especially your own. "Hadfield proves himself to be not only a fierce explorer of the universe, but also a deeply thoughtful explorer of the human condition." —Maria Popova, Brain Pickings

Book excerpt: Seldom does a book come along that speaks to the core issues of life with such clarity and wisdom. This profound book is deeply informed by the spiritual traditions of the West, the Far East, and the Native Americans, with whom the author has worked. It is a small treasure of wisdom about life's deepest issues. From the Book . . . ON EDUCATION & LEARNING The true measure of your education is not what you know, but how you share what you know with others. ON MONEY People who measure their money against their desires will never be happy, because there will always be another desire waiting to lure them. People who measure their money against their needs can gain control over their lives by gaining control over their needs. ON LOVE Love has its own time, its own season, and its own reasons for coming and going. You cannot bribe it or coerce it or reason it into staying. If it chooses to leave your heart or the heart of your lover, there is nothing you can do and nothing you should do. Be glad that it came to live for a moment in your life. If you keep your heart open, it will surely come again.
