This book was released on 1967 with total page 18 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report describes the design and testing of an eddy-current pressure transducer capable of transmitting accurate signals over long cables when subjected to a maximum pressure of 200,000 psi, high-level gamma and neutron radiation, and accelerations several thousand times that of gravity. The minimum breakdown voltage of the system is 3000 volts. It was tested to 165,000 psi by means of an air gun operating through an amplifier using indium as the pressure-transmitting medium.
