Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How would you best describe your book? It is a personal finance resource manual, a course in self-sufficiency. Who is it for? Basically, anyone who is not on the Forbes list can probably benefit from this book. It helps those who are struggling to survive as well as those who are somewhat comfortable but would like to save for the future. Is this another get rich scheme? Absolutely not! I don't promise that if you buy and read this book, you'll be able to move into a mansion in the most exclusive neighborhood in town or that you'll jet off to Paris next week. The principles set forth in this book require planning, hard work, and most all, discipline. But other than the initial book purchase they will cost you nothing and if you are consistent, they will work for every family, every single time. How is what you teach different from every other book on personal finances out there? All books on finances tell you that you need to save money, but nobody tells you how. We'd all like to put a thousand dollars a month into a savings account, but where are you suppose to get it? All of the other financial programs and books I've seen are for people with money. Perhaps the subjects are grossly mishandling their funds, but the funds are available. They talk about putting money in the stock market, IRAs, 401Ks, and mutual funds. Those are not bad ideas, but they say nothing to people who are in financial crisis. When a mother doesn't know what she's going to feed her babies for supper she's not thinking about 401ks. Papa walks in the door from work and before he can take off his hat and coat, three collection agencies have called, the landlord is banging on the front door and the repo man is at the back door. Guess what? Papa couldn't care less about mutual funds at that point. What is the biggest misconception about the book? I think the biggest misunderstanding is that it's a book for "poor people." Sure, low income people will be helped greatly, but the middle class will also find that their money goes farther when they use the principles taught in Waking From the American Nightmare. How will it help them? Let me ask the question - What would you do with an extra 5, 10, or 15 thousand dollars a year? Maybe you're not worried about being evicted from your home, putting food on the table or the lights being turned off. We can still help you. Do you have credit card debt or a mortgage? Maybe you'd like to have mom stay home while the children are young. Perhaps you'd like to take a family vacation, save for college, purchase a second car or send the kids to a private school. Whatever your financial destination, Waking From the American Nightmare is the first step of that journey. How do you expect people with money problems to pay $25.00 for a book? People who want to change their financial situation can't afford not to have this book. In effect, it costs them nothing because it will more than pay for itself on the first trip to the grocery store. After that, the savings just keep adding up. it's really an investment.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What if our dreams came true? What about our Nightmares? Archaeologist John Smith, who has been conducting a mysterious excavation in the ancient city of Pompeii in Italy for 10 years, which began in 2012, discovers a peculiar statue one day, and after he finds the statue and brings it home, his little daughter Elsa suddenly begins to have strange and terrible nightmares one night. These dreams that ignored at first, contain a series of cryptic messages about a terrible impending catastrophe that will change the fate of the Archaeologist and later the whole world, and even more frighteningly, over time, these nightmares begin to come true. In the nightmares this demonic creature communicates in Latin and requests a single thing: Victim, much victim as possible. So, more and more people die every day! Moreover, this Devil and his statue, who says that he comes from the other world, from Hell, haunt the little girl’s the dreams and tell her that he has come to start a series of disasters and wars in the world. Over time, he begins to give her commands and direct her. The little girl starts to change without realising it, and her family and the world start to change and drift towards evil. What's more, as the Devil and his statue from Hell put its plans into action one by one through nightmares, Archaeologist John Smith and his friend History Professor Gregory Kravnik begin to investigate the matter and what they can do, they realise that these extraordinary events are not the first in history. Moreover, even the Bible mentions this statue and its curse. Because, 2000 years ago in 79 AD, when Pompeii and the entire Italian peninsula were destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and were buried under the lava, this Devil had already contacted the world with the nightmares of a little child and led it to destruction. But this is the second and final warning and destruction. This is a final warning of the coming Apocalypse. Elsa finally goes into a trance and communicates with the spirit of this child, whose name is Gabriel, and everyone finally learns the truth and how these Nightmares and the Devil can be stopped: To go inside Mount Vesuvius, which is active again after 2000 years later, And to destroy this stone statue by droping into the centre of the volcano, into the lava. However, this will not be easy at all. Because, a very secret and mysterious Order, which dates back to the Knights Templar and their continuation, has been after this statue for centuries. Moreover they actually worship this statue and one night they secretly kidnap it from John Smith's house. Meanwhile, the nightmares are getting worse and a great catastrophe is fast approaching. So much so that if this catastrophe happens, the world will never be the same again. Until someone or something stops him and these nightmares from Hell..

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Wake Me from the Nightmare helps people awaken from the nightmare of suicide loss. Survivors of suicide loss are left to live in a chronic state of shock, horror, and devastation. Broken and raw, they forge on, while plagued with pain, disruptive thoughts, and unanswered questions. The terrain of traumatic grief is complicated at best and precarious at worst. R. Jade McAuliffe understands this balance. After losing her sister in 2015, what kept her alive was her refusal to stay quiet and her willingness to stay connected, and on the other side of her personal wreckage, she found brand-new life. McAuliffe shares her discoveries, including how acknowledging pain will help to heal it, why protecting energy is vital for maintaining health and sanity, why people don’t have to “get over” their loss in order to heal it, and so much more. Wake Me from the Nightmare guides readers to a safe place where they can move through their own emotional wreckage—and save their own life.

They express my life, or the life of others around me that has no voice, but their stories needed to be told. My poems represent the struggles in my life, my fight through an abusive childhood, my troubled youth, being brought up in a home of poverty and violence. They represent my battle through prison, fighting for my freedom. These books represent my broken heart, and my battle with depression. These books tell the stories of broken relationships Ive had, and the endless pain that thrives from them. Lost love, along with the sadness of my experiences in life. My books, tell my story about homelessness, by battle with cancer, my close and sad relationship with alzheimers and dementia, and my battle with heart disease. These books tell my story, and in hopes that other will know that theyre not alone in their pain. The words deeply scarred pictures, they are my way of describing painful memories that stick with you, they are fragments and pictures of pain that all tell a story. My poems are those pictures from within me. I always told people that there was a purpose for all the pain Ive experienced in my life, that my pain would be my success. When I express myself in poetry, my pain flows out of me threw the tip of my pen, on to the paper, and it releases pressure, and I feel so much better. My gift to the world is my poems. I dont want anybody to ever feel as if they are alone, the fact is that, I share their pain.

Book excerpt: Words, words, words... For a nation endowed with the art (in both negative and positive connotations) of word production, it is ironic that her authors, her eloquent Scheherazades, have been author-ized to be silenced, for the very sake of survival. Waking Nightmares belongs to a nation that shuns dialogue and is shrunk into interior or dramatic monologues. It is hard to make your voice heard to the world when you have been unable to make it heard to your own people, since you have been harassed and hushed for so long that Silence has become a mandatory temperament, and has crept deep into your collective unconsciousness, and has been developed into a holy institution. The seven chilling, haunting, and macabre short narratives here are deliriously dreamed or daydreamed by a troubled, traumatized, phobic persona; a reclusive and nocturnal wanderer of town alleyways and empty streets. They explore the nightmarish predicament of the post-revolutionary Iran; the repressed, alienated, frustrated, inactive, and silenced generation of revolution, during the dark decade of 1990s in Iran.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Millions of adults sleep with another adult, but what does it mean to share a bed with someone else, and how does it affect a couple's relationship? What happens when one partner snores? Steals the sheets? Prefers to sleep in the nude? To address these and other questions, Paul C. Rosenblatt asked couples to describe the struggles, challenges, and achievements of their bed-sharing experiences. Two in a Bed includes interviews with more than forty bed-sharing couples as they candidly discuss winding down and waking up, cold feet and tucked sheets, who sleeps near the door and who gets pushed to the edge, snoring, spooning, sleep talking, sleep walking, and the myriad other behaviors we negotiate in falling asleep, staying asleep, and waking up each morning beside a partner. In addition to exploring the routines and realities of sharing a bed with another person, these interviews reveal important information about sleep, relationships, and American society. Stressing the intricacy and importance of a previously unremarked activity, Rosenblatt's Two in a Bed shows that sleep should no longer be viewed solely as an individual phenomenon.
