The Record comprises, first, a Roll of the Fallen, on which are 944 names of members, 846 of them with portrait photos. This Roll is arranged alphabetically and gives for each individual his date of birth, his school, his athletic and military record at school, the Faculty in which he studied and his degree (if any), his athletic and militay record at the university, the record of his war services with promotions, dates, places where served, decorations, honours and mentions in dispatches., date and circumstances of death. The next list, entitled Record of War Services, gives concise details of service of some 7,000 members who served in the Navy, Army or Air Force - excluding those on the Roll of the Fallen. Then follows a list of Orders, Decorations and Mentions in Dispatches, which includes five VCs, each with full plate photo.
