The standard height of the breed is roughly 28 inches. They typically weigh between 70 and a 100 pounds. The Dobermans long, lanky legs also tend to give an illusion of even greater size. The pointed, erect ears of the Doberman symbolise the its power and predatory skills. Pointed ears aid the canine in hunting and stalking its prey.
