On the other hand, the scientific evidence that supports the usefulness and safety of DHEA supplementation is not absolutely conclusive, and the effects that occur over a longer period of time are not completely known. It is essential to keep in mind that DHEA is regarded as a prohibited substance in certain countries; hence, the inclusion of this ingredient in dietary supplements must to be addressed with caution. When contemplating the use of any hormonal supplement, it is recommended to first consult with a qualified medical practitioner in order to evaluate the potential risks and benefits of the supplement based on the specific health requirements and conditions of the individual.
