These messages are not included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. During the entire period of 1994 until his death in 1997, Brother Lee ministered in Anaheim, California. The contents of this volume are divided into eleven sections, as follows: 1. Four messages given on January 9 through September 11, 1994. These messages are included in this volume under the title God Becoming Man to Make Man the Same as He Is for His Highest Testimony. Two of the messages were combined. 2. Four outlines and two messages given on February 19 and 20, 1994. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The Dispensing, Transformation, and Building of the Processed Divine Trinity in the Believers and are included in this volume under the same title. 3. A personal note written on May 9, 1994. This note is included in this volume under the title A Personal Note by Witness Lee concerning the Burden of His Ministry. 4. Two messages given in Anaheim, California, on May 16 and June 25, 1994. These messages are included in this volume under the title Fellowship with Full-time Trainees. The first message was spoken in Chinese. 5. Four messages given on May 17 through 20, 1994. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The High Peak of the Vision and the Reality of the Body of Christ and are included in this volume under the same title. 6. The first period is the three months from January through March, during which Brother Lee was in Manila, Philippines, in January and returned to Taipei, Taiwan, via Hong Kong in February. He then conducted three conferences and a few co-workers' meetings in March. The second period consists of the next six months, from the beginning of April through mid October. During this period Brother Lee traveled around the world, passing through Tokyo, Osaka, and Shenyu in Japan (April 8 through 22); Honolulu, San Francisco, Berkeley, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Toronto in the United States and Canada (April 23 through August 1); London, Copenhagen, Glasgow, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Zurich, Geneva, Rome, and Athens in Europe (August 2 through September 21); Beirut, Jerusalem, and Tehran in the Middle East (September 22 through 28); Karachi, Rangoon (now Yangon), and Bangkok in South and Southeast Asia (September 29 through October 3); and Hong Kong (October 4 through 15) before returning to Taiwan on October 16. The third period consists of the last three months in Taiwan, during which time he conducted various conferences. For the first period we have records of Brother Lee's meeting with district responsible ones in Hong Kong on February 12. The three conferences that Brother Lee conducted in Taiwan in March were on the subject of enjoying God. This is the first time that Brother Lee released the light concerning this subject. In addition to the three conferences, Brother Lee conducted a number of meetings with serving ones on March 4 through 8. He also gave a series of messages on reading the Bible and another series of messages on the vision of the tree of life. The messages given during this period are included in volume 1 of this set. For the second period we have records of Brother Lee's speaking in Tokyo in April in a conference on enjoying God and records of a few private talks. There are two records of his speaking in New York and four records of his speaking in Denmark. In addition, he wrote long letters that reveal some of the meetings that took place during his trip. These letters are published in Church News in volume 1 of this set. After his visits to the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, he returned to Hong Kong in October. There he held two weeks of conferences on God's building. In the third period, upon returning to Taiwan in October, Brother Lee conducted a conference on God's building, with meetings in both the morning and the evening. In addition, he conducted various meetings with serving ones. After the conference, on Mondays and Wednesdays he gave additional messages on the subject of God's building. Almost all the messages given in the second and third periods of 1958 are included in volume 2 of this set. Some of his speaking in October and November is included in volume 1 in the section entitled The Perfecting of the Saints and the Building Up of the House of God. The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1958, volume 1, contains messages, personal letters, and reports by Brother Witness Lee from February through December 1958. Historical information concerning Brother Lee's travels and the content of his ministry in 1958 can be found in the general preface that appears at the beginning of this volume. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From January until March 1955, Brother Witness Lee remained in Taipei, Taiwan, to continue a series of Bible studies that he began the previous year. These studies were on the books of the New Testament from Matthew through Revelation. They are included in volume 1 of this set. After he completed this series, he traveled to the Philippines, where he remained until August. There he conducted another Bible study on the books from Matthew through Acts and gave messages on several chapters of 1 and 2 Peter. He also gave messages on a number of topics, including how to be useful to the Lord, the living and principles of the kingdom people, reward and punishment, the way for a Christian to mature in life, and the central work of God and the proper spiritual experiences. These messages are included in volumes 2 and 3 of this set. In September he traveled to Hong Kong and remained there until the end of December. During this time he conducted another Bible study on the New Testament from Romans through Colossians, perhaps as a continuation of the Bible study that he had conducted in the Philippines. He also gave a series of messages on the mingling of God and man and the principle of resurrection, another series of further talks on the knowledge of life, a training on how to conduct meetings, as well as messages on other topics. During his visit to Hong Kong, saints from Southeast Asia came and joined the meetings. As a result, he had some times of fellowship with these saints. Brother Lee's speaking in Hong Kong is included in volume 4 of this set. At the end of November, T. Austin-Sparks visited the Far East for the first time and held meetings first in Hong Kong and then in Taiwan. Brother Lee remained with Brother Austin-Sparks during his entire visit. The contents of this volume are divided into three sections, as follows: 1. One article that was published in the hardbound edition of The Ministry of the Word in 1955. This article is included in this volume under the title The Ministry of the Word, Miscellaneous Messages, 1955. 2. Four messages that were originally published by the Taiwan Gospel Book Room in August in Twelve Baskets Full, volumes 8, 9, and 12. These messages are included in this volume under the title Miscellaneous Messages from Twelve Baskets Full. 3. Forty-two messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, on January 12 through March 5. These messages are included in this volume under the title A Study of the New Testament in the Light of Christ as Life.

In 1982 Brother Lee spoke eighty-six messages that were published in Life-study of 2 Corinthians, Life-study of Exodus, Life-study of 1 Thessalonians, and Life-study of 2 Thessalonians. The Life-study messages are not included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. During the first three weeks of the year Brother Lee remained in Anaheim, California. He then visited Berkeley, California, on a weekend and returned to Anaheim, where he remained through the first ten days of February. He then spent a day in Vancouver, Canada, visited Seattle, Washington, for a weekend, and returned to Anaheim in the middle of the month. He ministered in Anaheim until the end of May. On the last weekend in May he ministered in Dallas, Texas, and then he traveled further to spend several days in New York City; Cleveland, Ohio; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Denver, Colorado, before returning to Anaheim in the middle of June. He remained in Anaheim until the end of July and visited Berkeley on the last weekend in July. He remained in Anaheim from early August until the end of November, except for one-day visits to the nearby localities of Cerritos and Huntington Beach, California, at the end of October. At the end of November he traveled to Irving, Texas, and remained there until the first week of January 1983. The contents of this volume are divided into seventeen sections, as follows: 1. Nine messages given in Anaheim, California, on January 8 through October 2. These messages are included in this volume under the title Miscellaneous Messages in Anaheim. 2. Five messages given in Berkeley, California, on January 22 through 25. These messages were consolidated into two chapters, which are included in this volume under the title Propagating the Divine Truth and Ministering the Central Vision of Paul's Completing Ministry and John's Mending Ministry. 3. Six messages given in Anaheim, California, on February 28 through September 9. These messages are included in this volume under the title The Believers' Experience of the Triune God as the Spirit according to Romans 8. 4. Four messages given in Anaheim, California, on February 1 through November 15. These messages are included in this volume under the title Various Meetings in Anaheim. 5. A message given in Vancouver, Canada, on February 11. It is included in this volume under the title The Central Vision of the Bible and the Lord's Present Testimony. 6. Ten messages given in Seattle, Washington, on February 12 through 15. These messages are included in this volume under the title The Ministry of the New Covenant Being the Ministry of the Spirit, Righteousness, and Reconciliation. 7. Eight messages given in Dallas, Texas, on May 28 through 31 and in New York City on June 1 through 3. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The Two Spirits in Romans and are included in this volume under the same title. 8. Three messages given in Dallas, Texas, on May 29 and 30. These messages are included in this volume under the title The Two Spirits in God's Economy for the Producing of Christ's Bride. 9. A message given in Dallas, Texas, on May 29. It is included in this volume under the title Being Controlled by the Unique Vision in the New Testament Ministry. 10. Seven messages given in New York City on June 1 through 3. These messages were expanded into eight chapters and are included in this volume under the title Walking according to the Spirit for the Fulfillment of God's Heart's Desire. 11. Eight messages given in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 4 through 6, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on June 7 and 8, and in Denver, Colorado, on June 9 and 10. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The All-inclusive Indwelling Spirit and are included in this volume under the same title. 12.
