It is GOD working among His people as characterized by revival, restoration, unity, world evangelization, and persecution. The purpose of this book is to prepare all believers to rise up, touch their world with the Good News of Jesus, and share His glory throughout the earth. I have had a close-up look at this man and his ministry and can heartily endorse it. May God use this book to encourage His Church to do great exploits and triumphantly bring back the King! Loren Cunningham, Founder, Youth with a Mission International Few books have dared to document so fully the incredible ways in which God has been working in His Church. It should be required reading for any world-Christian. Jay Gary, Past Executive Editor, World Christian Magazine Two underlying themes of this book are: (1) We may expect a major, worldwide revival in coming years which will immediately precede Christs second coming, and (2) God has been progressively restoring the Church to the New Testament model, particularly in the last few centuries. Dr. Howard A. Snyder, Author of Radical Renewal: The Problem of Wineskins Today Nate Krupp has produced a major work which, if used as a text, can provide superb training for the harvesters. Dr. C. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A much neglected field of study has been opened by the research of the author into the history of the Christian church from its apostolic origins to the close of the eighteenth century. Taking as his thesis the prominence given to the Church in the Wilderness in Bible prophecy, and the fact that “‘the Church in the Wilderness,’ and not the proud hierarchy enthroned in the world’s great capital, was the true church of Christ,” he has spent years developing this subject. In its present form, Truth Triumphant represents much arduous research in the libraries of Europe as well as in America. Excellent ancient sources are most difficult to obtain, but the author has been successful in gaining access to many of them. To crystallize the subject matter and make the historical facts live in modem times, the author also made extensive travels throughout Europe and Asia. The doctrines of the primitive Christian church spread to Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. As grains of a mustard seed they lodged in the hearts of many Godly souls in southern France and northern Italy — people known as the Albigenses and the Waldenses. The faith of Jesus was valiantly upheld by the Church of the East. This term, as used by the author, not only includes the Syrian and Assyrian Churches, but is also the term applied to the development of apostolic Christianity throughout the lands of the East. The spirit of Christ, burning in the hearts of loyal men who would not compromise with paganism, sent them forth as missionaries to lands afar. Patrick, Columbanus, Marcos, and a host of others were missionaries to distant lands. They braved the ignorance of the barbarian, the intolerance of the apostate church leaders, and the persecution of the state in order that they might win souls to God. To unfold the dangers that were ever present in the conflict of the true church against error, to reveal the sinister working of evil and the divine strength by which men of God made truth triumphant, to challenge the Remnant Church today in its final controversy against the powers of evil, and to show the holy, unchanging message of the Bible as it has been preserved for t hose who will “fear God, and keep His commandments” — these are the sincere aims of the author as he presents this book to those who know the truth. MERLIN L. NEFF.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: You can be a soul winner. At the turn of the last century, there were only two books on personal evangelism, one by Charles Trumbull and one by R.A. Torrey. Both taught personal evangelism methods to be used in the context of counseling seekers at mass evangelism crusades. The restoration of personal evangelism to the Church in modern times gained momentum in the 1960s and is considered to be a normal part of the life of many Christians. One of the significant books that God has used to restore personal evangelism in the Church is You Can Be a Soul Winner! Heres How by Nate Krupp. It was used as a text book in his Lay Evangelism Crusades where thousands in the United States and Canada were trained to be soul winners. Mr. Krupp was born in Fostoria, Ohio, in 1935. He was a senior engineering student and Student Body President at Purdue University when two Messianic Jews led him to Jesus Christ in a hamburger shop on March 17, 1957. Following their example, he was soon leading others to Jesus. Nate Krupp has been associated with the Navigators, Campus Crusade for Christ, Lay Evangelism, Inc., Christian Holiness Association, National Association of Evangelicals, and Youth With A Mission. You can be a Soul Winner! Heres How has gone through several revisions. It has been used by many groups on every continent. Over 60,000 copies of the English edition have been distributed throughout the world, and it has been translated into several other languages. Only eternity will reveal how many have been led to Christ by those who have been motivated and trained for personal evangelism by this book.

Book excerpt: Never before in American history have so many people felt so uneasy about the future course of this great country. In spite of the fact that the U.S. has always had serious problems of one sort or another, there is a growing concern today that something is terribly wrong; a kind of foreboding sense that —unlike it always has in the past — the future will not simply “work itself out.” Just who are we as Americans anyway? What is our true destiny? Does it really make sense that there “end time” prophecies concerning Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Russia, Ethiopia and many others, while the Bible is silent about the wealthiest and most powerful nation in history? Actually, the Bible has a great deal to say about the United States at the end time, and Part I of America, the True Church, & the End of the Age gives you about the best guide to that information you are likely to find. And what about the confused state of “the Church,” not only in America but around the world? It's time we stopped kidding ourselves and admitted that modern Christianity just doesn't measure up to the New Testament standard. Your Bible suggests that any church claiming to be Christian, but not having power, is false! Part II of this book shows you clearly from the scriptures what the problem is . . . and how both the Christian Church and its power will be restored, in a rather dramatic way, at the end of the present age.Part III of the book lays out in detail what will happen during the final seven years prior to Christ's triumphant return to earth. This is the period known as “Daniel's seventieth week.” The message of God's two witnesses will occupy the first 3 1/2 years, and their message of “restoration” (Matt. 17:11) will not be well received by Christians. Many will even confuse them with the beast and false prophet, who will occupy the second 3 1/2 years of the final seven. Given how confusing and unexpected all of these events will be, you really can't afford to be without the information contained in America, the True Church, & the End of the Age!

Those researchers contribute in a very concrete way to the preservation of indigenous toponyms, and thereby also the associated cultural heritage. The other papers explore how place naming functions as a mechanism with which to create mental maps and exert socio-political power.

Book excerpt: Contemporary history and progressive revelation regarding the Hebraic festivals are the basis for a renovation of the traditional historicist’s house and its perception of recapitulation in the book of Revelation, which does not disturb the historicist’s view that the papacy is the Antichrist. Under this new interpretation, John’s use of recapitulation was modest as compared with the traditionalist’s view. The new view correlates the prophecies and illustrations of the seven seals with our modern-day market-driven society, the prophetic era of the Laodicean church, the autumnal festivals, and the “the time of the end” in Daniel 8:17. The correspondence of the apocalyptic horsemen of the seven seals with the historical accounts of the Protestant’s rise to prominence and their termination of the churches’ influence in our modern-day commerce is incendiary. Moreover, the correspondence pertaining to autumnal festivals regarding the final judgment and the apocalyptic horsemen of the seven seals is no less provocative. As is the case of all such correlations that come to light through progressive revelation, they become a blessing for the sons and daughters of God and a reproof for those who walk in darkness (Revelation 1:3).
