Through wins and losses on the field, normal desires of teenagers, and tragedy, lives are changed. Maynard and J.R. have to come to grips with each other and their family situation. J.R., Joe, and Manny fight through their high school years and into college trying to stay on the right path. Seth, with the help of his cousin Andie, help J.R. discover God's plan and purpose for his life and it is a plan and purpose J.R. or his father would have never dreamed of!
