The questionnaire for the report was largely developed by librarians at the University of Arizona libraries.

The tutorial prototype is hosted on a UAF Rasmuson Library web server. It uses WordPress as its backend content management software. The tutorial also uses Guide on the Side active learning software. The tutorial consists of four learning modules. Most modules include a video, video transcript and a short quiz. One module includes a self-paced tutorial using Guide on the Side. Initial feedback from faculty and students has been positive.
