How then will you understand any parable." (Mark 4:13) Jesus gives us the key to understanding how the kingdom works through the parable of the Sower in Mark, Chapter 4. He said, "Understand this parable and you will understand all parables". Throughout this parable, the seed is the one constant, as it is the ground that changes. Jesus did not say that some of us have good ground and some of us have bad ground. He teaches us that we can transform our ground. Understanding this parable is the first step, however the key is learning how to traverse the different grounds in order to reach the good ground. Seed Prayer, prayer that combines speaking scripture (sowing seeds) and praying in the Holy Spirit (watering the seeds sown), applies the power of this parable to transform the ground we are sowing into, so that our seed can bear fruit. Seed prayer was developed over a period of years at our church in Northridge. Several members of our congregation gathered with me every morning and we all prayed for several hours together. This Seed Prayer revelation came out of those times of prayer. Understanding the revelation of the parable of the sower and applying its power, which is Seed Prayer, is the key to receiving other revelations of God and manifesting them in your lives. I urge you follow this principle of prayer daily, and as you do, your ground will be cultivated over time and transformed into good ground where your seed sown will produce fruit. I promise it will change your lives for the better, as it changed ours.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sowing and Reaping is one of the most invoked principles from the Bible. In as much as it is an essential principle it is either misunderstood or deliberately misinterpreted. Either misunderstood or misinterpreted, it does not assist the sincere truth seeker in his effort to faithfully apply the principle for his benefit to glorify God. To misunderstand it or buy into the misinterpreted forms of it denies a person what would have been his rightful reward if he understood and applied the right Biblical version of the law. Worse still, the distorted version lays the basis for potentially firm separation of that person from God. This happens when a person realises that what he has long been promised to reap if he sows into a ministry or pastors life does not materialise. Something which from day one of the promise was not going to happen because every seed brings forth the fruit of its kind but not the fruit of other seed which is not of its kind. This book is not primarily concerned about the interpreters who consciously distort the message of grace as indicated in Jude 1: 4, but concerned about the faithful who have misunderstood the law and even fallen prey to the interpreters spoken about by Jude. The faithful is here in this book delivered from sowing wrong seeds and born again into sowing the right seeds which brings forth their kind by the immutable power of the just God. The illuminating power of God enshrined in his word is used to shed light on life changing seeds and the fruits they bear.

Book excerpt: The perfect gift! A specially priced, beautifully designed hardcover edition of The Joy of the Gospel with a foreword by Robert Barron and an afterword by James Martin, SJ. “The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus… In this Exhortation I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy, while pointing out new paths for the Church’s journey in years to come.” – Pope Francis This special edition of Pope Francis's popular message of hope explores themes that are important for believers in the 21st century. Examining the many obstacles to faith and what can be done to overcome those hurdles, he emphasizes the importance of service to God and all his creation. Advocating for “the homeless, the addicted, refugees, indigenous peoples, the elderly who are increasingly isolated and abandoned,” the Holy Father shows us how to respond to poverty and current economic challenges that affect us locally and globally. Ultimately, Pope Francis demonstrates how to develop a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, “to recognize the traces of God’s Spirit in events great and small.” Profound in its insight, yet warm and accessible in its tone, The Joy of the Gospel is a call to action to live a life motivated by divine love and, in turn, to experience heaven on earth. Includes a foreword by Robert Barron, author of Catholicism: A Journey to the Heart of the Faith and James Martin, SJ, author of Jesus: A Pilgrimage

Book excerpt: In his bestselling book Emergence, Derek Rydall helps you throw aside the self-help books and recognize one simple, radical truth: the answer is already in you. The harder we try to change, the deeper in the hole we get. We find a new partner but have the same old fights. We strive for an ever-bigger paycheck but end up broke at a higher income bracket. This is what happens when the basic principle of life—the Law of Emergence—is disrupted, stopping you from knowing that you are the perfect you. Like an acorn is a perfect acorn that becomes a perfect oak tree, there is not a part of you from beginning to end that isn't exactly what you should be. The Law of Emergence provides the foundation to re-engage with this ancient principle. In this seven-stage framework, spiritual life coach Derek Rydall shows that we aren’t lacking anything; everything we need to fulfill our full potential is already inside us. Backed by an ancient truth that has largely been lost, Rydall changes the conversation around how to achieve your potential by showing you how to activate the genius already in you and empower your purpose in life. If you are struggling to improve something about yourself—your health, your mindset, your relationships, then Emergence is the book and Derek is the teacher you have been waiting for.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Abide in me," Jesus tells us, "and you will bear much fruit." Yet too often we forget that fruit needs different seasons in order to grow. We measure our spiritual maturity by how much we do rather than how we are responding to our current spiritual season. In Spiritual Rhythm, Mark Buchanan replaces our spirituality of busyness with a spirituality of abiding. Sometimes we are busy, sometimes still, sometimes pushing with all we've got, sometimes waiting. This model of the spiritual life measures and produces growth by asking: Are we living in rhythm with the season we are in? With the lyrical writing for which he is known, Mark invites us to respond to every season of the heart, whether we are flourishing and fruitful, stark and dismal, or cool and windy. In comparing spiritual rhythms to the seasons of the year, he shows us what to expect from each season and how embracing the seasons causes our spiritual lives to prosper. As he draws on the powerful words of Scripture, Mark explores what activities are suitable or necessary in each season--and what activities are useless or even harmful in that season. Throughout the book, Mark weaves together stories of young and old, men and women, families, couples, and individuals who are in or have been through a particular season of the heart. As Mark writes, "I pray that this book meets you in whatever season you're in, and prepares you for whatever seasons await. I pray that it helps you find your voice, your stride, your rhythm, in season or out. Mostly, I pray that you, with or without my help, find Christ wherever you are. And that, even more, you discover that wherever you are, he's found you."
