The Assembly meets four times every year (January, April, June and October).The Assembly can adopt three different types of texts: opinions, recommendations and resolutions. Referrals are then ratified by the Parliamentary Assembly. Although non-binding, the Model Law significantly influenced the access to information landscape on the continent. Since the adoption of the Model Law, the Commission adopted several General Comments.
