Beginning in Genesis 3 when tempting Eve, he asked, “did God really say_______?” Since then, Satan has continued to insinuate we should doubt what God has said, or that he can be trusted. You may have heard, or even repeated some of the following statements, that presumably originated with Satan, the father of lies. • Why would a loving God let bad things happen to good people? • Hell does not exist. Why would a loving God send people to hell? • You do not really believe that Jesus is the only way to God, do you? That is narrow minded. What about other spiritual leaders like the Buddha, or Muhammad? • What about the people who never heard about Jesus? When tempted by Satan, Jesus quoted the Bible to refute him. You need to be prepared to do the same. This book is for everyone—because most do not study the Bible. Seemingly, many Christians either just listen to sermons or only sporadically read the Bible. Others may read the New testament but skip the Old thinking it is not relevant anymore or find it difficult to understand. However, we must consider the Bible as a whole to fully appreciate God. To make it easy, this book is written so you can skim, scan or study like speedreading. It includes verses and references to Scripture throughout. It is like going through the Bible in chronological order.
