Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “The Journey To An Undefeated Mind” is a book inspired by myself, the author's personal battle against mental health. It is about all the lessons and blessings I learnt along my journey. I wanted to share this with other's so that they can get through their own journey. My book "The Journey To An Undefeated Mind" is all about the reader, it is a direct conversation or speech from the author to the reader. Guiding them through this journey, advising them, encouraging them, speaking life into them when they feel low. Something I didn’t have around me, as often as I would have liked it when I was going through my journey, my battles against mental health. I believe my book, could be a big help to many people facing mental health, whether you are facing it alone or not. It's like having a pocket size friend travel along with you. Ok maybe slightly bigger than pocket size. But you get what I mean. How often have you had to face something, and you wished you had that extra bit of help guiding you through. Enough support to help you on the right path. But not too much, so you can learn to do it yourself. This is what my book is there for. That extra bit of support. That motivator, friend that shows you your worth. Shows you that you can, and always could do it. You just had to start believing in yourself. This is what “The Journey To An Undefeated Mind” is there for. To get you to start believing in yourself again. To get you to understand, that in life, you are bound to fall, bound to fail a couple times. But you will only be defeated, if you choose to stay down, if you choose to stay defeated. Having an “Undefeated Mind” means yes in life, we may fail, we may take some L’s, but we won’t be defeated in life.

Syd Barrett was Pink Floyd's founder, singer, guitarist and principal composer, who left the group in 1968 amidst tales of acid-induced madness. Barrett's brief flash of erratic brilliance is now the stuff of rock legend, and his post-Floyd recordings have become cult classics. Revised in 2006, this book draws on years on research to relate the story of an epic rock tragedy.

Book excerpt: The woman who has sworn off romance finds herself trapped inside a romance novel... Some think their lives are ruled by fate. Others by chance. But Annalise Morrison knows who crafts her destiny – an interfering author hag – and if Annalise ever finds that meddling writer, she is going to shove that keyboard down her throat. No one is going to tell her who to date, but grrr…why does Theo Griffin have to be so hot? The man who's only looking for a little action finds a whole lot of trouble... Theo Griffin’s down to play hero to Annalise’s heroine. He’s all in for any kind of action between the sheets this novel requires. That’s what the hero does in these kinds of books, right? But this sexy woman entices him to ditch his plans and tempts him to give more of himself than he ever thought possible. Will he turn his back on love…or surrender? It’s fun and games until the emotions turn real. Ready or not, here he comes... Author’s Note: Originally published as T&A: Revelations of a Romance Novel Heroine.

Book excerpt: Gerry St. Germain’s story begins in “Petit Canada” on the shores of the Assiniboine, growing up with his two younger sisters, his mother and his father—a shy Metis trapper and construction worker who sometimes struggled to put food on the table. St. Germain was initially troubled in school, scrapping with classmates and often skipping out to shoot pool, but an aunt and uncle funded his tuition to Catholic school, where a nun recognized his aptitude for math and encouraged him to pursue his dreams. He would go on to become an air force pilot, undercover policeman and West Coast chicken farmer. Business gave way to politics, and in 1988 he became one of a tiny number of Aboriginal Canadians named to a federal cabinet. That milestone was just one of many for a man who played a critical role in Canada’s Conservative movement for a generation. From the Brian Mulroney era to the roller-coaster leadership of Kim Campbell, then to the collapse of the Progressive Conservative Party in 1993 and the subsequent rebuilding of the movement under Stephen Harper, St. Germain remained a trusted confidant of prime ministers and a crucial and often daring behind-the-scenes broker in bringing warring factions together. But he is most proud of his efforts during his later years in the Senate, when he was a quiet hero to Canada’s Aboriginal community. He spearheaded major Senate reports on key issues like land claims and on-reserve education during the Harper era, when there were few friendly faces for First Nations leaders on Parliament Hill. That role reflected St. Germain’s profound determination to help people who are still dealing today with the brutal legacy of residential schools and the paternalistic Indian Act. Memories of his humble beginnings, and the shame he once felt over his Metis heritage bubbled to the surface in his final address to Canada’s Parliament in 2012, when he said in a voice quaking with emotion: “I am a Metis.”
