During my time at Edinburgh there were two of the professors who should have resigned some years previously, and whose teaching was a farce. The student, however, was compelled, by the regulations of the college, to attend the classes of these professors - an absolute waste of time! An excellent Bibliography of Medicine is contained in Garrison's History of Medicine, a model of literary workmanship, from which I have Obtained much information. The other standard works and periodicals referred to are too numerous to mention. If readers will draw my attention to errors of omission Or of commission I shall be very grateful.
