The expenditures for the current expenses of the Hos pital have increased this year over last, five per cent; the work done as shown by the number of patient days has increased twelve per cent; and, as stated, the expenditure has been entirely met from receipts intended for current needs during the year with a credit balance of $17 4. This is the third year in succession that we have been able to make this showing and we trust that it will strengthen the faith and increase the energy of the friends of St. Luke's.
