The perversions that are heaped upon our children are the most grotesque acts of cowardice imaginable. Our children are innocent of such perversions, and are victims of Cruel, deviant cowards. Who only care about their gratifications? I will go into my life experiences, and what contributed to my foul deviancy. I will go in depth into the grooming that pedophiles use on children to gain their trust, and the manipulations to keep them quiet, through guilt and threats of harm.

Norris-Bernal and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2011-02 with total page 384 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Why yet another book about forgiveness? Abundant literature, written from Christian and other spiritual perspectives, is available specifying why forgiving those who offend us results in such improved physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual health. What makes this book unique, however, is that it deals strictly with survivors of child abuse and the profound ways that they are affected for life without some type of intervention. Learning to forgive, healing from abuse, and trusting/finding intimacy with Father God are three processes that are difficult, if not impossible, for most survivors of child abuse to experience. The power inherent in forgiveness contributes enormously to healing for deep wounds and the realization of true intimacy with the One we are privileged to call Abba, Father. Many survivors' highly personal, deeply sensitive, and incredibly dramatic accounts of abuse suffered, their choices to forgive, their experiences of deep healing, and ultimately the fulfillment of lifelong desires for closeness with God are documented in Forgiving Others and Trusting God . . . Handbook for Survivors of Child Abuse. You will find these accounts both inspirational and unforgettable! Even if you never were victimized as a child, you will gain plenty of hands-on, practical tools to assist in your own journey from overcoming any emotional or spiritual obstacles and hindrances to forgiving others and trusting God. J. E. Norris-Bernal, M.S., was a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 20 years and an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Ms. Norris-Bernal is currently a college professor teaching English and Psychology courses. She is also a Christian life coach for local and long-distance clientele. Prior to her work as a mental health professional, Ms. Norris-Bernal was a professional editor for 10 years. She resides in Arizona with her husband, and they have three adult children living in Southern California.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the wake of recent violence our nation has experienced, and the paranoia that has ensued, we've directed our attention to potential terrorists in our midst. Yet our children face more risk from people they know than from terrorists they have never met. An estimated one in five girls and one in ten boys in the United States experience some form of sexual abuse by age eighteen. What could possibly motivate a person to molest a child? Not Monsters documents the stories of nine convicted child molesters through one-on-one interviews, listening to what offenders have to say about their crimes and exploring the roots of these behaviors from a social constructionist perspective. Their words paint a compelling and frightening portrait of how sexual abuse works in Western culture to perpetuate a political and social system of dominance and control.

Identifying Child Molesters: Preventing Child Sexual Abuse by Recognizing the Patterns of the Offenders will teach you to better protect children from potential child sexual molesters long before any abuse can actually occur. Here you'll learn to recognize and understand the seemingly invisible steps that typically precede child sexual abuse. These stories of molesters, their families, and their victims, will enable you to more accurately see through a potential molester's charming demeanor and better protect the children in your life. By becoming familiar with this terrain you will find the courage and strength to decide what must be done, and the skills to follow through with the necessary actions. Such responses will appropriately curtail an offender's access to children and subsequent opportunities to molest. Identifying Child Molesters will teach you: how to recognize those who might molest how molesters typically 'charm’adults how societal attitudes help to foster child sexual abuse what to do when encountering a potential molester what physical and emotional damage molestation can cause to victims how to graciously avoid potentially dangerous situations Identifying Child Molesters: Preventing Child Sexual Abuse by Recognizing the Patterns of the Offenders clearly spells out the techniques that child sexual molesters so successfully use to charm adults into giving them access to children. When these strategies are seen and understood, adults can take much more direct responsibility for preventing child sexual abuse than was previously possible. Anyone who lives or works with children needs to own this book. The information you'll encounter in Identifying Child Molesters might startle you, but it might also help you save the life of a child!
