He also allowed me the HONOR to PRAISE and WORSHIP his Holy name, as I began to live a RIGHTEOUS Life glorifying our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST. I thank and praise the Lord continuously, but most of all strive To worship him Faithfully for allowing his child to be. As I share the words that he instill within me, so that you will have The opportunity to read GODs POETRY and receive them JOYFULLY. As I read and receive God Holy Word, I am blessed with the chance To feed my Heart, Mind and Soul. If you read these scriptures St. LUKE 8: 40-56, you may be able to understand how grateful I am to my HEAVENLY FATHER. Merging comparative close readings with interdisciplinary theory from philosophy, psychology, cultural theory, history and literary theory, and trauma studies, this book juxtaposes a genocide, a terrorist act, and a natural disaster amplified by racial politics and human disregard in order to consider what happens to empathy in poetry after events at the limits of empathy.

Hightower and Florence Chia-ying Yeh contains three chapters on shih poetry, ten chapters on Sung tz'u, and four chapters on the works of Wang Kuo-wei. It includes ten previously unpublished works, including Hightower's now classic work on T'ao Ch'ien and Yeh's studies of Subg tz'u, as well as seven important additions to the literature on Chinese poetry.
