If young women don’t know how to properly live for God, they’ll start to follow the world’s definition of beauty. True beauty is all about inner beauty, and it’s something God has planted in each one of us. God is our beauty mark, and He needs to be rooted into every aspect of our being. Embracing our inner beauty happens deep in our soul and allows us to be radiant from the inside out. It affects all areas of one’s life, and it proves you are more precious than gold. Sarah Evangeline has embraced her inner beauty through Christ and cannot stop until she shares this truth with other young women. Throughout her book, Sarah teaches and helps guide young women to the knowledge that they are adorned by the King, the Creator of the universe. It is time for you to cherish and embrace your inner beauty. Will you join Sarah on this journey? Will you make God your beauty mark?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God Remembered Rachel" was subsequently one of the many titles I had to choose for my poetry book. This title stood out the most due to it's significance to me. A fellow colleague in the gospel preached a sermon with the same title a while back, and I never forgot it. The biblical account of Rachel, though painful at times to read about, ultimately had a wonderful ending. I loved the fact that Rachel learned through trial and error to trust in a God, who promises that you will reap if you faint not. At the end of this story God opens her womb, so she can bare Jacob two sons. They are the evidence that though she sowed in tears she reap in joy. This book should shed light on our dark situations, give hope when you feel you don't have any, as well as provide joy and laughter. I hope that we realize that if God remembered Rachel, he will remember us too!

Book excerpt: Between alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs, pornography, gambling, and eating disorders, fully 25% of the population of the United States is addicted to something. Those addictions are taking a massive physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial toll on individuals, families, and communities. The problem can feel insurmountable. But there is a solution, at once ancient and supported by the latest in neuroscientific research. With an honest assessment of the facts, yet always reaching out toward hopeful solutions, counselors Chip Dodd and Stephen James explain what addiction really is, how it works, and why it is so damaging to our hearts, souls, minds, and relationships. They then take us beyond mere coping techniques that allow us to function to the real solution--restoring our broken relationship with our Creator so that we can rediscover how to live fully the way we were created to live. Each chapter includes the personal story of a recovering addict, told from the addict's point of view. The authors also include a list of books, organizations, workshops, and treatment centers people can turn to for help along the road to lasting recovery.

Christian women aren't exempt from these temptations either, and can even elevate good things like marriage and motherhood to the status of idolatry. Women may sense that these idols are hollow and leave them feeling unsettled, but where should they turn instead? In Cultural Counterfeits, Jen Oshman encourages women to reject the empty, destructive promises these idols offer and embrace something much more satisfying. She casts a vision for women to experience real hope and peace in Jesus, calling them to recognize their unshakable and eternal identities in him. This timely and compelling resource will help women find freedom and joy as they explore God's good design and purpose for their lives. Book excerpt: Learn how to foster meaningful, lasting connections within your community, whether face-to-face or online, by creating a small-group culture through a proven five-step strategy. Now, more than ever, people need community. Though digital “connections” are skyrocketing in today’s culture, deep relationships are in steep decline. People are eating out (and on the run) more—and going into an office less. As evidence of the stress on our social fabric, rates of loneliness and isolation, along with mental health issues, continue to climb. Our need for community is clear, and people are turning to churches to find a place to connect, belong, and grow. You know that a healthy small-group environment doesn’t just happen. It requires a clear vision, a thoughtful plan, and an experienced guide. It takes intentional effort to make it a reality. This book lays out the plan you need, whether your group is meeting in person or digitally, to intentionally build meaningful, lasting connections and spiritual growth in your church community.
