On November 19, 1863, Abraham Lincoln arrived at the battlefield near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to remember not only the grim bloodshed that had just occurred there, but also to remember the American ideals that were being put to the ultimate test by the Civil War. A rousing appeal to the nation’s better angels, The Gettysburg Address remains an inspiring vision of the United States as a country “conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.”

Book excerpt: When we rewind history back to Abraham’s era, we encounter people who concocted false superstitions to explain the unexplainable. Powerful kings claimed to be gods, building massive pyramids to achieve immortality. Out of this mass of misunderstandings, one man emerged. The man we know today as Abraham not only claimed that one true Creator existed but also staked his entire life on this belief. Why, thousands of years later, are we still discussing the faith of this desert nomad? One of America’s most popular Bible teachers Pastor Chuck Swindoll answers that question and many more in this compelling and insightful biography that will inspire your own faith.

Is the world's most powerful nation—the United States of America—overlooked in Bible prophecy? Why are relatively small powers like Egypt, Syria and Lebanon mentioned, but no nation recognizable as the United States can be found? What about other major English-speaking nations such as the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia? In fact, many prophecies do mention these nations. But, without a proper understanding of history and the Scriptures, few can identify these countries and understand what lies ahead for them. The Bible study aid booklet, The United States and Britain in Bible Prophecy, takes you on a remarkable journey through history and Bible prophecy to reveal an incredible story with sobering implications for the major English-speaking nations. You can't afford to be without this priceless information. Chapters in this ebook: -- Two Nations That Changed the World -- God's Commitment to Abraham and His Descendants -- What Is a Biblical Covenant? -- How God Shaped Israel's Future -- Does God Keep His Word? -- How Jacob Became Abraham's Heir -- Israel's Golden Age -- With Justice for All -- International Trade: A Source of Solomon's Wealth -- God's Covenant With David -- Were All the Israelites Deported? -- Are All Israelites Jews? -- The Mysterious Scythians Burst Into History -- Celts and Scythians Linked by Archaeological Discoveries -- Linguistic Links: What's in a Name? -- The Label Celt and Celtic Society -- Prophecies of Israel's Resettlement in Northwestern Europe -- Britain and the United States Inherit Joseph's Birthright -- Benjamin Disraeli: Maestro of Empire -- Advocates of British-Israelism -- The Bible In British and American History -- From Punishment to Destiny -- Dual Fulfillment in Bible Prophecy -- The Geography of Celtic-Scythian Commerce Inside this Bible Study Aid ebook: "Why has history been so benevolent and economically generous to Britain and the United States? Why have they been blessed so favorably over the nations that preceded them in history? The answer lies in the understanding and fulfillment of biblical prophecy." "God's promise to Abraham was not limited to a small and ancient people in the Middle East. It extends far into the future, and it is not limited by national boundaries." "Where can we find the descendants of Joseph, the lost tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh? This list of blessings eliminates most of the nations of the world as contenders. To find them we must ask: Which nations possess these blessings in our world?" "When we understand that the modern descendants of Joseph are the people of the United States and Britain, we see that over the past three centuries God has been true to His promises." "Though the United States and Britain do not appear in the Bible's prophecies of the end time under their present names, God hasn't ignored these nations. He identifies them in prophecy according to their ancestry. Most people simply haven't known where to look for them."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monograph investigates Genesis 12:3 in its context in the final form of Genesis. The author argues that the verse is, first, a promise of security and greatness to Abraham and Israel. However, its position following Genesis 1-11 also indicates a divine plan to extend blessing to all the peoples of the earth. Supporting this understanding of the verse, the author examines the close parallels that Genesis and Numbers 24:9 have to Genesis 12:3. He also presents a detailed consideration of the concept of blessing in the Old Testament and of the niphal and hithpael stems of the verb barak. Ph.D. dissertation under the supervision of Dr R. W. L. Moberly, Durham, UK.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "THE TRUTH"- "The Covenant" and "nation of people" selected by the God of Abraham as covenant heirs entitled to the inheritance of God. Greco Roman Christianity created by Constantine in 325 A.D. and thereafter practiced by a diversity of contemporary Christian denominations, is not the gospel of Christ written in the bible. Psalms 83 plainly shows the descendants of Edom i.e. Greco Romans, Ishmael i.e. Arabs and other nations, not born from the "promise seed of Abraham," are the enemies of Israel and God's chosen people, who conspired to hide, subjugate and genocide the national identity of Israel. The Covenant God made with Abraham and the promise seed of Abraham is an "exclusive" everlasting covenant, that does not include other nationalities of men born from Adam. The new and old testament covenant expressly shows only the promise seed of Abraham are counted as heirs and no other nation. A false religious theology created by rulers of the Roman empire that proclaims Greco Romans and other nations born from Adam --are heirs entitled to inherit the new testament covenant promise of eternal life, is not contained in the bible-- and only became a "fiat reality" after the Greco Roman enemies of Israel came into world dominance. Prophetic scriptures prove so called "African Americans" are the undeniable descendants of the promise seed of Abraham, brought to American on wooden ships to serve as slaves to their Greco Roman enemies.
